Franchises

For franchises, many times the accounting may be an area that the franchisor provides little or no support. eCratchit works with many different franchisees. Accounting for franchises is unique because of the contractual relationship between the franchisor and franchisee. Many agreements require fees to be calculated in a specific way and reporting to be timely and accurate. Often times the franchisor will provide third party software for certain aspects of the business that are not necessarily strong financial packages. We have experience integrating these programs into QuickBooks. Strong financial controls for a franchisee allows them to make sure the project business is materializing and that any franchisee reports are timely and fees calculated accurately.

PODS (New England Portable Storage, LLC)

PODS (New England Portable Storage, LLC) Portable On Demand Storage (PODS) is a fairly new concept of transporting mobile storage containers directly to the customer at their convenience to pack at their leisure for moving or storage. (You have probably seen their truck and PODS around town or at your local Home Depot store) A weather-resistant container is delivered and placed at ground level for easy packing and unpacking. What really makes the process unique is the utilization of a hydraulic lift system which significantly reduces shifting of contents. PODS can be transported around the corner or across the country without the hassle or expense of traditional truck rental, storage facilities and moving companies.

eCratchit Solution- reviewed the chart of accounts, implemented monthly processes, including our AP system, meet monthly with management to discuss financials and process.
